Long-time participants in the Team Body Project community will certainly recognize Natarsha Crowley, who goes by the affectionate nickname 'Tarsh.' She has been a steadfast presence, motivating fellow members and supporting the coaches for nearly five years now.
Despite not being the tallest member of the group, Tarsh commands respect from everyone. Members have learned not to underestimate her capabilities. She stands out as one of the most dedicated high-impact performers within TBP, delivering powerful efforts in every session. Whenever participants seek to elevate their training intensity with an extra challenge, they often turn to Tarsh for inspiration and example.
Tarsh serves as a remarkable role model for busy mothers around the globe. Balancing her role as a part-time teacher aide with raising two teenagers, she still prioritizes daily physical activity. From leisurely walks with her dog to full-fledged TBP workout sessions, she remains committed to maintaining her health and strength well into the years ahead.

What Inspired You to Begin Your Fitness Journey with TBP?

Having grown up in rural Australia, sports were always a central part of my life. I actively participated in swimming, field hockey, and various dance styles. The 1980s aerobics craze, complete with step classes, was also part of my early fitness exposure, shaping my enthusiasm for movement from a young age.
My connection with Alex began years ago at the school gates in London, where our sons were in the same class. Over time, a shared friend introduced me to the online workout programs created by Alex and Daniel. Like so many others, I started following along in my living room, finding it accessible and engaging.
During the colder winter months, I sought out convenient workout options that didn't require gym visits. The TBP sessions struck the perfect balance—challenging enough to push me, yet approachable and rewarding. Daniel's motivational style and Alex's elegant form were particularly captivating, drawing me in deeper.
Can You Describe the Experience of Appearing in TBP Workout Videos?
I never imagined that casual conversations at the school gate would evolve into this incredible opportunity. Initially, stepping into the filming environment felt overwhelming, like being caught in headlights. However, my prior familiarity with Alex, Daniel, and the workout routines from home practice helped ease the nerves and gave me a solid foundation.
The inaugural Real Start program marked a pivotal and positive turning point. I viewed it as a unique chance to contribute, and to still be involved almost five years onward feels surreal and deeply gratifying.
What Aspects of Filming the Workouts Do You Enjoy the Most?
Filming days are consistently filled with enjoyment and positive energy. The atmosphere on set buzzes with camaraderie among the entire crew. Moments like when Kristen passed me the heavier dumbbells stand out as highlights—it's all about exercising alongside close friends, which makes every session truly special.
How Do You Get Ready for a Filming Day?
Preparation starts with fueling up properly. On filming mornings, I prioritize a nutritious breakfast and stay well-hydrated throughout the day. The previous afternoon, I avoid overexertion to conserve energy. Post-filming, I designate the next day as recovery-focused, typically incorporating a gentle walk to aid restoration.
What Do You Value Most About the TBP Community?

The TBP community feels like an extended family spanning the globe. The social media groups foster genuine connections, making it seem as though we truly know one another despite the distances. In 2019, I had the privilege of traveling to Atlanta for an in-person workout event with members from various countries. Gathering in one space, all united in mutual encouragement and shared exertion, created an unforgettable memory that ranks among my top experiences.
Is There a Particular Workout That Stands Out as Your Favorite?
TBP offers such a diverse library that I find something to love in nearly every new release. That said, the original Real Start program holds a special place in my heart. Lately, I've been thoroughly enjoying the Mish Mash 40 sessions and the dynamic Versus workouts for their fresh energy and structure.
In What Ways Has Your Fitness Journey with TBP Changed Your Life?

The transformations have been profound, touching multiple facets of my existence. Daily movement has become a highlight I genuinely anticipate, whether it's a stroll with my dog or diving into a structured TBP routine. Consistency in training has become second nature, and I recognize its vital role in supporting long-term health, mental clarity, and overall vitality.
Regular physical activity is fundamentally beneficial—no need for perfection. The endorphin boost from workouts, combined with guidance from top-tier professionals, keeps me hooked. At this stage, I believe I'm in the strongest and fittest condition of my entire life. I've gained appreciation for strength training's importance alongside cardio, especially as I navigate aging and life's next chapters.
My loyalty to TBP stems from its comprehensive variety, encompassing strength work, cardiovascular challenges, and beyond, ensuring sustained engagement and progress.
What Tips Would You Offer to Newcomers Embarking on Their TBP Fitness Adventure?
Getting started can take persistence—don't be discouraged if it doesn't click immediately. Experiment with various workout styles to discover what resonates with your body and preferences. Remember, pausing when needed is perfectly acceptable; every participant began at square one. Embrace your individual path, trust in your abilities, and progress at your own pace.
